Flog is currently 5 people working from a small office in Manchester.

We built Flog.co.uk because we all had various items we wanted to flog, but couldn't be bothered with the hassle of selling on ebay and registering and packaging stuff and paypal and escrow and so on.

I personally had a 1997 Bang and Olufsen TV which worked perfectly well, but was a bit - 70's in style and getting increasingly dusty in the loft.

So we built Flog.co.uk, filled it with all the stuff that family and friends wanted to flog - or wanted to give away to a caring new owner (providing the owner came to collect!)

And then threw it open for everyone to use - to find stuff, to flog stuff. So it's very much a regional thing at the moment - but we hope it will grow.

It's totally free to use and to flog stuff - so give it a go, what have you got to lose.

Remember - don't send goods by post, don't accept cheques as payment in return for goods, unless the cheque has cleared and ideally insist the new owner comes to collect. And if you are not comfortable about meeting strangers at your house, arrange to meet on a local supermarket car park or other busy place and take a friend with you.
